Sharon Freedman has performed at such theaters as The Shakespeare Theater of NJ, The Hangar Theatre, Bank Street Theater, The Vineyard Playhouse and The Storm Theater. Favorite roles have included Lady Macbeth (MACBETH), Lisa (PRIVATE EYES), and Ellen July (THE ASTHMA CONSPIRACY). She was a swing in the Off-Broadway production of BIRDY'S BACHLORETTE PARTY. She has workshopped new plays at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, New Dramatists, The Ensemble Studio Theatre, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The Seven Devils Playwrights Conference, Primary Stages, Young Playwrights and The 24Seven Lab, of which she is the Co-Creator and Company Manager. Her film credits include It’s Your Birfday (with Keith David), Ladies Room (official selection of Slamdance) and The Ski Trip (written and directed by Maurice Jamal of "Chappelle’s Show"). She has done numerous commercials, industrials, and voiceovers and is currently the voice of the syndicated radio show "The Sean Gunn Show." She is a member of Partial Comfort Productions and co-creator of the Battle of the Bards, as well as Executive Producer in 2005 and 2006. With Partial Comfort Productions she has been in ...a matter of choice, THE BIGGER MAN, and The Welcome Mat Series. She has produced events and shows for PCP and The 24Seven Lab, including The 6-Pack, Take a Peek and The Bacchanalia Bash. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. |

Edith Freni’s plays have been staged, read and read staged at venues all over New York City. Recent projects include: MY DOG HEART (EST Marathon 2007; Dir: John Gould Rubin), 2007 Williamstown Theatre Festival LeapFrog Residency with frequent collaborator Moritz von Stuelpnagel, MOMMA (PS 122/Best of the Boroughs Festival); BABY GIRL (PCP/Center Stage); THE WORKAROUND and WATERBORN (EST/Youngblood). She has been a member of Youngblood, EST’s emerging playwright’s unit, since 1999; is a member of Partial Comfort Productions; and is the co-founder/lit manager of The 24Seven Lab. Publications: WATERBORN (DPS); Hot Blooded, New Monologues from the Members of Youngblood (Playscripts, Inc.), and The Best Women's Stage Monologues 2006 (Smith & Kraus). Edith was a Lark Theatre Playwriting Fellow (Fall 2003), nominated for the 2003 Seattle Rep Women’s Playwrights Workshop, highlighted as part of Showbusiness Weekly’s 2002 Discovery Series, featured in the Tisch School of the Arts Department of Dramatic Writing Alumni Reading Series in the Spring 2004 and was a finalist for the 2005 Seven Devils Playwrights Conference. She is the recipient of a Rita and Burton Goldberg Playwriting Fellowship and the Harry Kondolean Graduate Playwriting Award from NYU, where she recently received her MFA in Dramatic Writing. Edith is a native New Yorker, a displaced upper West-sider, and a Yankee fan. |

Sarah Nina Hayon was most recently seen in REARVIEWMIRROR @ 59E59 (Reverie Productions) and earned a 2007 Drama Desk nomination for her performance. New York productions and workshops at INTAR, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, HERE, LAByrinth Theater Company, EST, The Flea, The Women's Project, La Mama, The Lark, CSC, Clubbed Thumb and New Dramatists. As a member of Partial Comfort Productions, Sarah has appeared in Edith Freni's BABY GIRL and Chad Beckim's ...a matter of choice; and The Welcome Mat Series. She is a founding member of the newly formed The Fire Dept. Theater Company (Artistic Directors Jessica Blank, Erica Gould and Audrey Rosenberg), and a co-creator of the playwrighting development series The 24Seven Lab where she has worked with a roster of emerging playwrights. |
